Apple Doubles Its Houston Campus for Mac mini Production

Apple is expanding its Houston manufacturing campus with a new factory dedicated to Mac mini production, doubling the site’s footprint. The company announced the expansion in February as part of its $600 billion U.S. investment commitment.
Servers first, then Macs
The Houston operation already builds advanced AI servers and logic boards used in Apple’s U.S. data centers, and that work is running ahead of schedule. Mac mini production is set to begin later in 2026.
Training the workforce
Apple is also opening a 20,000-square-foot Advanced Manufacturing Center later this year to train students, supplier employees and U.S. businesses. The company says its Houston operations will create thousands of jobs.
